Josh Norman compares Odell Beckham Jr. to Michael Jackson
One of the most entertaining football games we’ve witnessed the entire year, was earlier today when the New York Giants tried to battle for playoff position against the undefeated Carolina Panthers. With Cam Newton still campaigning for his MVP achievement this season, but more importantly home field advantage throughout the NFC Playoffs; the Panthers gave cornerback Josh Norman the green light to get into the head of the Madden cover guy, Odell Beckham Jr.
Throughout the day, O.B.J. caught just 6 receptions for only 76 yards, as Eli Manning had to look for other targets throughout their early struggles on offense. After Norman body-slammed Beckham to the ground, that was the opening of the flood gates for a slew of questionable actions on the field during the day. Things became so tense, that Odell attempted a cheap-shot, with a helmet-to-helmet hit on Josh, but it was missed from referees on hand.
While Beckham remained in the game to finish up the G-Men’s defeat, losing his cool against the league’s best corner is unacceptable – which could’ve resulted in him being seriously injured. We’re just hopeful a fine is play, in comparison to an imminent suspension.
