The Cleveland Cavaliers looked pretty defeated after last night’s loss against the Golden State Warriors. Especially since they had the win in the grasp but couldn’t hit a shot down the stretch when the Dubs got hot and went on an 11-0 run.
One player that seemed to be frustrated, but confident after the game was JR Smith.
Of course, after that tweet went out, it was quickly deleted and now JR is saying he never sent that. His account has been reportedly ‘hacked,’ according to what he told Cleveland.com.
“I got out of the shower and my phone was buzzing. I did not tweet that. I’m smarter than that. … I didn’t tweet that. I would be much smarter than that to tweet that at literally 12:04, right after the game.
I’ve been known to send some pretty crazy tweets in the past. But I mean obviously I would know better than that. [It was posted at] 12:04 when the game was over at 12 so …”
We’ve seen the Warriors blow a 3-1 lead before, so we can’t be too skeptical about the Cavs making a comeback, but do they have any chance? JR seems to think so (if it was really him that sent that tweet out), and Cavs fans have some sort of hope it could happen.
But come on. Getting ‘hacked,’ though?
