it’s show time!
It was a shocker to see Justise Winslow slide all the way to the No. 10 pick in the NBA Draft, but it was Miami Heat‘s gain. Pat Riley and company were quick to snatch him up and he has a promising career ahead of him in South Beach.
Tonight against the Charlotte Hornets, he put on a highlight reel as soon as he got on the floor, going back to back with a 3-pointer and electric slam dunk. Wide open on a fast break, he hit the trey and made it look easy. Then on the very next time up the floor after the Heat created a turnover on defense, he slashed down the baseline and threw down the thunderous dunk.
That’s pretty much all he did for the night, points wise, but the future looks bright for the former Duke guard/forward. It’s going to be exciting to watch this season.
