Kam Chancellor Officially Ends Holdout with Seattle Seahawks & Will Play Sunday

Is the Seattle Seahawks saved?

The biggest circus within the NFL for the past 12 months has been the Seattle Seahawks. From front office issues with players and players have voiced their complaints about both Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson, the team finally has something to cheer about.

Marshawn Lynch has let it be known he wasn’t happy this year with his friend Kam Chancellor not receiving proper pay for a new contract, as cooler heads have prevailed.

After a summer-long holdout, the Pro Bowl safety will officially return to the team this Sunday for their first home game of the year. Due to missing the first two games of the season, Chancellor lost out on two checks worth $267,647. At the moment, Kam’s under contract through 2017 at reasonable price and wants to get prime money in his biggest years.

Unfortunately, the Seattle front office feels otherwise, but play and fans calling them out and will wait to off-season to address business. With Kam returning to the team, the Seahawks (if on the same page) are the immediate favorites to win a third consecutive NFC Championship this January.
