It was Katy’s first college football game
It’s a big day in college football and ESPN invited a special guest to predict some of today’s big matchups. It was outright hilarity to hear Katy Perry make picks based on team colors, corndogs, Dolly Parton words and college quarterbacks she thinks are cute (Oklahoma’s Trevor Jackson won). The College Gameday crew gave her a hard time with a few of the picks, but the crowd gave in Mississippi gave her a standing ovation for supporting their team.
Interestingly enough, she also threw a bit of shade at the NFL Super Bowl for asking her to “pay to play” at the big game. She wasn’t having any of that.
UPDATE: Our girl Katy P was wrong about Oklahoma, but got called that Ole Miss upset right on the money. Other picks she got right: Mississippi over Texas A&M, Auburn over LSU, Notre Dame over Stanford, Ohio State over Maryland, plus the Michigan State and Rutgers wins.
Are you keeping track? The only one she got wrong was a blind-by-lust pick for Trevor Knight. We forgive her for that and now need to make her wifey asap.
