Kemba Walker Drains Buzzer Beating Layup Against Knicks

Another game-winner for Kemba!

Both the New York Knicks and Charlotte Hornets are struggling this season, but there’s one thing KNICKSTAPE don’t have that the Hornets do: Kemba Walker. When the ball is in his hands with time running out, chances are it’s going in.

After watching him break ankles and hitting a buzzer beater in the season opener, he was back with another one against the Knicks on Friday night. Carmelo Anthony hit a 3-pointer to put the Knicks up by one with only four seconds left, then Kemba caught the inbound, took it to his left and put up the prayer layup for the win. He ended the game with only 11 points.

Melo carried the Knicks with 32 points and 7 rebounds, while on the other side of the ball, Gerald Henderson led all Hornets scorers with 22 points. Lance Stephenson and Al Jefferson also contributed with 16 points each and Gary Neal with 13 points off the bench.
