In the NBA, there are a few arena’s where you have more inclination to want to show out as a player. None more so than at Madison Square Garden. The rich history of the stadium, mixed with the fans and the great performances in the past, makes it understandable why it is referred to as the Mecca Of Basketball.
Last night Kevin Love took one of those traditions to the next level, after he hit a crazy bank shot to seal the victory for the Timberwolves. As he was running down the court, he reached out his hand and got a dap in return from the legendary Spike Lee, who famously sits courtside at every Knicks game. This is basically the ultimate cosign in the NBA world and now it’s only a matter of time before the Kevin Love to Knicks rumors pop up.
Spike would more than definitely approve!
