Kevin Love Discusses Future with Cleveland Cavaliers & Recent 4th Quarter Benchings

The superstar forward talks enjoying success over being “The Man”

With the Cleveland Cavaliers on a two-day break from the court, Kevin Love finally had time to give a brief media phone call run before he and his teammates embark on a lengthy post-season run. Currently sitting 2nd in standings overall for the Eastern Conference, Love stopped by The Dan Patrick Show earlier today to discuss his role with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving; as well as being benched in the 4th quarter by Head Coach David Blatt.

Obviously drawing comparisons to Chris Bosh, adjusting faster to becoming a third option, Love has said next season will be much different following his inaugural year in Ohio. Before things closed out, he revealed plans on returning to the Cavaliers next fall for training camp – no matter what outcome the team has in the playoffs.
