Should the Cavs bring Kevin Love back this free agency?
Throughout the 2015 season, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been in the headlines for its big three being able to adjust to each other. While many may think the best lineup on the court is LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and the others – Kevin Love and the King have had the highest efficiency rating among all players together on the court. Since dislocating his shoulder in the opening round of the NBA Playoffs against the Boston Celtics, Love has remained silent regarding his future until participating in a practice with the team over the weekend.
While he’s still ruled out to miss the upcoming NBA Finals, Love spoke with media revealing he’s expecting to play the opener for the 2016 season and expects to extend his contract with the Cavs in the near future.
Since his injury, Tristan Thompson has seen the most progression in his significant minutes increase, which has even questioned the future of Kevin in the land. While Tristan and LeBron both have the same agent, the contracts of JR Smith and Timofey Mozgov comes to an end next summer like Love – not to mention the maximum deal Kyrie is expected to sign this off-season; the Cavs have some major decision making to do in July.
Watch Love dismiss rumors for now and rejoining the team this week on the sidelines.
