Klay Thompson Breaks NBA 3-Point Record with 14 3’s Made

What the Golden State Warriors are doing to the NBA right now is insane. Whether it’s Steph Curry going off for 51 points dropping mad 3’s or Kevin Durant dropping 41 points on the New York Knicks like nothing. Today, it’s Klay Thompson who is going off against the Chicago Bulls.

The other (and often forgotten) Splash Brother scored 52 points, went 14-24 from 3-point range and set the NBA record for more three’s made in a game. And it all happened in less than 3 quarters. His teammates kept feeding him the ball and he kept scoring at will. The team racked up 34 assists on the night, 11 of which came from Draymond Green.

So, who held the 3-point record previously? His teammate, Chef Curry.

Dub Nation completely obliterated the baby Bulls, ultimately winning 149-124. Steph had 23 points, while Kevin Durant had a quiet 14 points.

These types of performances are historic and a regular occurrence for the Warriors.
