Klay Thompson Hits Ten 3-Pointers as Warriors Reach 23-0 Record

The other splash brother!

When talking about the Golden State Warriors‘ undefeated record this season, the buzz has pretty much been around Steph Curry and his MVP like performances on the court.

Remember the other Splash Brother Klay Thompson?

He completely snapped today against the Indiana Pacers, hitting 10 three-pointers in the game (including eight before the half), shooting from long range like a madman. There was no stopping Klay and it didn’t seem like the Pacers were trying either. He was two treys short of tying the NBA record, which he could have easily surpassed if he wanted to. Unfortunately, he sprained his ankle towards the end of regulation when he landed awkwardly on teammate Shaun Livingston‘s foot while going up for a rebound. X-rays were negative, but a timetable for return is not clear as of yet.

Thompson finished the game with 39 points (29 by halftime) and 7 rebounds on the night. Steph Curry ended with 29 points and 10 assists to help Dub Nation improve to 23-0 on the year.

Indiana was Golden State’s biggest threat to break the streak, with the squad now having to play the Milwaukee Bucks, Phoenix Suns and Boston Celtics on the horizon, before taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas Day. Could they go 30-0?

FINAL: GS 131 | IND 113
