The exit of Dwight Howard with the Los Angeles Lakers wasn’t exactly part of the organization’s plans for the future, but once again Kobe Bryant is the reason a Center leaves a team. Normally, players would get flack for not being able to attract free agents to their teams, but Kobe’s a proven champion winning two NBA Finals MVP awards and a collection of awards to his prestige career.

Following Snoop’s recent appearance Jim Rome on SHOWTIME to voice his displeasure with Jim Buss, The Mamba returned to the show as well to discuss Dwight’s departure from the team. Kobe reveals the start of the 2013 season last year was a roller coaster year dealing with injuries, coaching changes and getting use to each other. The 2nd half of the season, saw the Lakers have one of the best records in the NBA for that span sneaking into the playoffs before Kobe would injure his Achilles tendon.

After the jump, you can watch Kobe explaining ego’s which he hinted at teammates being sensitive, whether he thinks Dwight will ever have the DNA to win a championship down the line in his career and more.
