Kobe Bryant To Miss 6 Weeks With Knee Injury

kobe1

Absolutely awful news out of Los Angeles today as the Lakers announced that star SG Kobe Bryant will be out 6 weeks after suffering a fracture in his left knee. This is just after Kobe had just came back after tearing his achilles at the end of last season. This also comes after Kobe just signed an extension with the Lakers spanning over the next 2 years and for max money.

The 6 week time frame put’s Kobe’s return around the beginning of February, though you would think he would take things slower after just coming back from his previous injury. In the short term this certainly takes a lot of the luster out of the NBA Christmas Day games that were set to feature Kobe and the Lakers against LeBron and the Heat. We will updated with more details as they come in.
