Kobe Bryant Seen With The New NBA 2K14 Laker My Players Above Visits Germany For RPR Right Knee Treatment
Kobe Bryant’s age might finally be catching up to him after suffering the Achilles injury back in May; he’s also dealing with knee issues as well. The Los Angeles times reported, the Mamba left the country for Germany for an undisclosed treatment of his right knee that was unknown at the time, but has been revealed to be an Orkthokine procedure for his right knee. This is the second time he’s gone to Germany for the treatment, which he had done in 2011 for a sore right knee and left ankle that were both plaguing his play.
We saw results last season, as Kobe said he felt like a new man after having the procedure done; but now now 2 years later, we’re wondering how his body will hold up. The good news for Lakers fan is that the plasma therapy won’t hinder his return from the Achilles injury (set to return at the latest in mid-January); but questions still remain which month he’ll return. After having the therapy and still not cleared for running or jumping at the age of 35 in his 18th season, we’re assuming after he becomes a free agent this summer, he’ll be looking to extend his career another 3 or 4 seasons. Check after the jump for a video on more information about his 12-hour flight to Germany.
