Kris Dunn Suits Up For His First NBA Game

Kris Dunn has been one of the most talked about rookies going into the season, especially because of the situation that he’s in. He impressed in summer league, but the fact that he joined the young Minnesota Timberwolves squad and could potentially take over Ricky Rubio‘s place is very interesting to keep up with.

Then Rubio went out with an injury early into the season and he was thrust into more playing time.

In this video, we see Dunn gearing up for the first game of the season, something he’s been dreaming of since he was a little kid. He talks about adjusting to the new system and trying to get used to the pace of the game and Coach Tom Thibodeau says some words about what he thinks about his rookie point guard.

So far, Kris has been averaging 6.4 ppg, 4.6 ast and 3.6 rpg
