Kristaps Porzingis Soars Over LaMarcus Aldridge for Dunk

Latvia’s own!

Just three days ago, Kristaps Porzingis became a human highlight reel thanks to good defense with the steal, weird spin moves and a strong finish in transition.

On Monday night, Porzingis had a few more plays that you can add to his rookie highlight tape, as he is quickly becoming a fan favorite in New York with his energy on the court.

After a Carmelo Anthony miss from the baseline, Porzingis played clean up by soaring over LaMarcus Aldridge and putting back the miss with the hammer. But he wasn’t just dunking on the night, though. Kristaps was also hitting treys, dishing the rock and spreading the floor while he was out there.

There was a scary moment in the 4th quarter when ‘Melo landed on the back of the rookie’s neck while going up for a rebound, though he did walk off the court with a little help. He wound up leaving the game and did not return, but word from the Knicks locker room is that he has a strained neck and they will reevaluate him tomorrow.

Kristaps ended the game with 13 points and 14 points rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs routed New York at home by 10 points.
