Oh, It’s Damn True!
Nearly 11 years ago, Kurt Angle left World Wrestling Entertainment, after a dispute with Vince McMahon regarding a high-demand work schedule – as well as a rumored disagreement on rehab.
Well, more than a decade later, both sides have officially buried their hatchet, as it’s been revealed that he’ll return to the company this April for WrestleMania weekend in Orlando.
The 48-year-old former Olympic Gold Medalist is set to headline the Hall of Fame Class of 2017 and hasn’t ruled out the possibility of having a few more matches for WWE.
He also confirmed last night on his social media account, that initial reports from ESPN were true for his induction to the hall. Take a look at the brief announcement video above, and look for possible more news to emerge leading up to his imminent final match.
I'm coming home! #itsdamntrue
