LeBron James Pays Homage to Karl Malone With Breakaway Dunk

The Mailman!

We can’t expect some of the young folks reading this to even know who Karl Malone is (let alone remember watching him play back in the day) at this point, but at the very least, we’re hoping this LeBron James dunk puts them on to a little history.

During the Cleveland Cavaliers game against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night, ‘Bron managed to come up big, stealing a pass to Dirk Nowitzki and started the fast break possession. He passed to J.R. Smith, who gave it right back to a sprinting King James and he threw down the hammer in The Mailman fashion. If you’re not well versed on Malone, catch up with a highlight reel HERE.

James ended the game with a double-double, scoring 27 points and bringing down 10 rebounds on the game, while Kyrie Irving finished with 22 points of his own.
