Last year, JAY Z left being a part owner of the Brooklyn Nets to start his own sports management company known as Roc Nation Sports. The company is now home to Skylar Diggins, Kevin Durant, Victor Cruz, CC Sabathia and Geno Smith; but the athlete who helped launch the company into becoming a destination was Robinson Canó, who was the first signee.

Some of you should remember last June’s “Where I’m From” preview, which then New York Yankee Canó was discussing his journey from the Dominican Republic to playing in pinstripes for the Bronx. Although JAY Z is a longtime Yankee fan, things didn’t work out in the situation like all parties would have wanted, forcing the two to head west and sign the fourth largest contract in the history of sports; equaling Albert Pujols’ 10-year, $240 million deal.

After the jump, you can watch the full 20-minute updated semi-documentary affair, which shows his arrival to the Seattle Mariners, how baseball has not only been a sport but been a way of life for his hometown of San Pedro de Macoris in the Dominican Republic and much more.
