Josh Smith leaves the Houston for a Hollywood run with Lob City!
One of the worst benches in the entire NBA over the last few seasons, has been the Los Angeles Clippers. On the verge of losing a major starting piece to their team earlier this month in DeAndre Jordan, the team acquired the likes of Paul Pierce and Lance Stephenson this off-season. According to the source of all sources, Chris Broussard has reported that Josh Smith has agreed to a one-year deal to join Lob City. Since being waived by the Detroit Pistons last December, Smith played in 55 games for the Houston Rockets and was instrumental in their infamous shocking come-from-behind series victory against the Clippers last playoffs.
With Donatas Motiejunas returning to the Rockets from missing nearly the entire season, J.R. saw his minutes would be decreased and thought a move to Hollywood was best for his career at 30. While this is viewed as the best Clippers team ever assembled, they unfortunately have to battle the San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors among the others in the west next April in the post-season.
