After 6 games, Lakers finally win
It only took five straight losses to start the NBA season, but the Los Angeles Lakers finally got on the win column with their 107-92 match against the Charlotte Hornets Sunday night.
The Lakers were the only team in the NBA, besides the Philadelphia 76ers, who were winless thus far to start the season.
After trailing nine points at Haltime, Los Angeles came roaring back in the 3rd quarter thanks to the efforts from Jeremy Lin and Carlos Boozer, giving them a 25-6 run to start the 4th quarter. Kobe Bryant and Link both ended the game with 21 points, while Boozer added 16 of his own.
On the other side of the ball, Al Jefferson ended with 23 points for the Hornets, Kemba Walker added 17 and Lance Stephenson contributed with 10 rebounds and 6 points.
The Lakers schedule will be tough coming up. They take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday, before facing San Antonio, Golden State, Houston, Dallas and Denver in the coming weeks.
