After having a breakthrough season with Southampton, Luke Shaw has finalised a move to join Man United for four years in excess of £30 million. At just 18 years old, the left back has become one of the most sought-after defenders in the Premier League, and was chosen as a back-up for Leighton Baines during the 2014 World Cup, and made an appearance in England’s final game against Costa Rica, which ended 0-0. As the youngest player to appear in the international tournament, Shaw becomes the second signing for United this week after the arrival of Ander Herrara from Atletico Bilbao, in attempt of securing a European place once again.
