Last night, Ervin “Magic” Johnson made his way back to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Jay’s final episode airs next week and he’s been inviting his favorite guest from his years on NBC in his farewell tour (we think). The now Los Angeles Dodgers owners came out and joked about a previous comment from Leno saying Ervin wishes he was a Clipper. Ervin went on to jokingly say, he was exactly correct while visibly looking depressed for a rare split-second.
He even took to twitter recently to even advising Carmelo Anthony to stay with the Knicks and forgoing a possible Lakers free agent signing this summer. Magic continued to vent on their biggest problem at the moment being their coach and mocked how Los Angeles runs the same play every play. The conversation continued to discussing Kobe Bryant’s recent contract extension, which hinders the team from a spending spree in the market this June.
