After failing to stick to the financial fair play rules, Man City have been fined $82m (£49m) and will be restricted to a 21-man squad for the Champions League next season. The news arrives less than a week after winning the Premier League title, with the club deciding not to appeal against the decision and significantly limit their spend in the transfer market during the next two years. The likes of PSG, Zenit St Petersburg, Anzhi Makhachkala, Galatasaray and Trabzonspor have also breached rules set by the European governing body.
