After much speculation over the weekend, it’s been announced that Mario Balotelli has joined Liverpool on a long-term deal. The Italian player returns to the Premier League off the back of scoring 30 goals in 54 appearances in his time at AC Milan, while netting 30 in 80 for Man City from 2010-2013 to secure the title. The amount of young talent and style of play within Rodgers’ side played a huge role in his decision to move. Although Mario didn’t sign in time, Liverpool face City in the second fixture of the league later today.
