“To a degree, he’s hurt the game” – Mark Jackson
Christmas afternoon, when the Golden State Warriors were routing the Cleveland Cavaliers, Mark Jackson made some eye-raising comments during the final seconds of the third quarter.
While citing Stephen Curry is an MVP and a World Champion, he believes that the captain of the Warriors has ruined the game of basketball – to a degree. He went to say how he walks into high-school gyms and the first thing kids do in drills, is run to the three-point line for an attempt.
Jackson said that while Stephen has that ability in his genes, that doesn’t mean that everybody can do the same thing off the dribble – something that’s almost impossible for a regular baller to do.
Watch more of the former coach of Golden State giving praise to Curry, while advising others to learn from his other areas of basketball expertise, then work on developing a three-point shot.
