Martavis Bryant Burns Arizona Cardinals Defense for 88-Yard TD

No Vick, No Big Ben, No Problem!

It was game, match, set for the Pittsburgh Steelers with about two minutes left to play on Sunday. They were already up 18-14 and were trying to run down the clock against the Arizona Cardinals, but returning wide receiver Martavis Bryant would be dammed if he didn’t break out on a play this afternoon after being missing in action the first five games of the season.

On a 2nd-and-8 pass from Landry Jones (who came in for the injured Michael Vick), Bryant went from what could have been a 10-yard gain, to switching gears and burning the entire secondary the other way all the way to an 88-yard touchdown.

Checkmate.

Bryant finished the game with 6 receptions for 137 yards and two touchdowns on the day. Not too shabby for someone who didn’t even have their starting quarterback in Ben Roethlisberger to throw to him. He’ll probably continue the trend when Big Ben comes back too.
