It only makes sense for Barnes to be with Memphis after history with Thunder!
In the past, the Los Angeles Clippers have been considered soft and Matt Barnes was normally the player that wanted to step up for Blake Griffin, whenever there was a physical altercation. Two years ago during opening month of the 2013 season, that became evident when he went as far as challenging Oklahoma City Thunder’s Serge Ibaka to a face-off on the court – and didn’t back down. Although Barnes is no longer in Hollywood, he coincidentally joined a team that Oklahoma City has bad blood with from year’s past, the Memphis Grizzlies. During a recent visit to ESPN’s SportsNation, Matt ensured there was no love lost for the upcoming season (and possibly post-season), citing his real beef with Ibaka in the video above.
