Miami Dolphins DE Dion Jordan Suspended 1-Year by The NFL

Damn, all that for some weed?

According to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, Miami Dolphins DE Dion Jordan has been suspended for the entire upcoming 2015 season for violation of the league’s substance abuse policy – again. The former Oregon Ducks star under Chip Kelly was suspended the first four games of 2014 for performance-enhancing substances, then later in the season four games for violating the league’s substance abuse policy – following a recent diluted test sample.

After looking to rebuild his image with a jumpstart at a new year, this is a huge blow to the well-known pass-rusher, as he’s been said to not appeal this year-long suspension. Coincidentally, the Eagles and Dolphins were near a trade to reunite Jordan with his former college coach but that’ll likely have to wait until 2016.
