The Pacers didn’t have enough in the 4th quarter to overcome the Heat lead.

Just when it looked like the Indiana Pacers were going up 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Miami Heat went on a 12-2 run in the 4th quarter to route the home squad 87-83 and send the momentum and series back to Miami.

The Heat were trailing four points with about seven minutes left, but their defense and LeBron going on a scoring spurt demolished the lead. LBJ ended up with 12 points in the 4th, while Dwyane Wade scored 10 points himself, lifting the team on their back with 59% shooting from the field as a collective and 22 points from the duo.

In comparison, the Pacers only scored 20 points as a team in the 4th. Their bench did not show up, only going 3-9 between Luis Scola, C.J. Watson and Rasual Butler.

James ended with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, while Wade had 23 points and Norris Cole gave the Heat a spark off the bench, scoring 11 points to end the day.
