Not too long ago, Michael B. Jordan appeared on the Beats 1 OTHERtone radio show. The actor joined the conversation with Pharrell and Scott Vener to talk about an array of topics, which included sports, politics and music.
In this clip, Michael was asked about the NBA playoffs (the Golden State Warriors were still playing the Portland Trail Blazers at the time) and he had a hard time answering who would win the title. Although he couldn’t deny the Gregg Popovich system and the experience of the San Antonio Spurs (they have since been eliminated from the postseason), he said the Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers would be the last two teams standing. He even said the series would go seven games.
Although Pharrell is not too well versed in the area of sports, he said angry fans at games make him happy (not too “Happy” since he didn’t put it in his hit single, though). P said if he could bottle that feeling in a bottle and sell it, he’d have unlocked the key of life.
