Mike Conley Is Done for the Season With Heel Surgery

Although he has been out of commission for the Memphis Grizzlies for about two months, Mike Conley is shutting down for the rest of the season thanks to surgery in his left heel. Doctors and Conley looked for different ways to bring him back and ultimately, it was decided that the procedure was necessary to “to smooth a small bone protrusion.”

Mike last played on November 13, but participated in drills in practice this past month. The injury still bothered him, enough this was the best course of action.

Conley ends his season averaging 17.1 points and 4.1 assists per game.
