Robinson Cano & JAY Z Now Under Investigation After $33,900 Shawn Carter Classic Limited Edition Fusion Watch.

Monday, MLB’s most prominent free agent Robinson Cano celebrated his 31st birthday in Belgium with agent JAY Z. JAY played in Antwerp for his Magna Carta Tour that same evening, as Cano and his entourage would celebrate at the Magic nightclub. Cano revealed on his instagram account receiving limited-edition Shawn Carter Classic Fusion watch by Hubolt following his birthday celebration.

The $33,900 watch may have violated the league’s union agent regulations, as the MLB players association has launched a full investigation on JAY Z and the NY Yankees 2nd baseman. Cano’s currently seeking a 10-year / $310M deal from the pinstripes, but that will obviously be on hold now due to an investigation.

According to the MLB players association regulation rules.

“No Player Agent or Applicant shall provide, cause to be provided or promise to provide, any money or any other thing of value to any player, or any person related to or associated with such player, the purpose of which is to induce or encourage such player to use or continue to use any person’s or firm’s services as a Player Agent, Representative, or Draft Advisor

Players can only receive certain gifts from their agents not exceeding $500 and must be disclosed to the union. If found guilty in a violation, JAY Z could be disciplined after the investigation is over.
