Monday Night Football: Jets/Texans Preview

NY Jets at Houston
Time: 8:30 PM (ET) | Tonight
Network: ESPN

For the final game of week 5 football play, we’re shown an AFC match-up on Monday Night Football with the undefeated Houston Texans and the soon to be under .500 Jets of Joisey. Houston doesn’t have any injury problems but the Jets have a slew of injuries with Stephen Hill and Dustin Keller both suffering from hamstring issues as they’re doubtful for tonight, while the obvious Darrelle Revis and Santonio Holmes will be out the rest of the year. To say these Jets need a prayer would be an understatement. Expect Coach Rex Ryan to look to the “Waterboy” when things turn for the worst if they’re down by 20 before halftime.

Although known to boast about having one of the league’s top defense , the Jets allow at least 173 yards a game rushing as they’ll have their hands full tonight with Arian Foster as well as that receiving core of Andre Johnson, Owen Daniels and Kevin Walter. If the Jets have any chance in hell at winning this game it’s going to have to be from their dismantled offense that’s been lackluster the entire year. Any Jets fans out there, I would highly suggest you to not watch tonight’s game and just look forward to Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
