Earlier this week we reported the startling details from the Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin situation, where sources claimed that Martin left the Miami Dolphins team because of bullying from Incognito. This included verbal abuse over the phone and Incognito pressuring Martin to put up $15,000 for a trip to Vegas that Martin didn’t even attend. Since then, a lot more details have emerged from the situation, some which are alarming and will definitely be addressed by the NFL player’s association.
OS REWIND: Dolphins Player Suspended In Bullying Case
- Martin checked himself into a Florida hospital to deal with emotional distress shortly after the reports surfaced. The stay was brief and he returned to his home in California with his family.
- The NFLPA has officially asked to meet with Dolphins officials as part of their investigation into the case to find out how much they knew of what was going on.
