Must See NFL Sunday 2013: Week 1

nm

Although Thursday kicked off the NFL Season and Peyton Manning tied the NFL record for most TD’s thrown in a single game, the games don’t begin until Sunday! Welcome back to the NFL Season, after long enduring months of boredom in sports this summer.

There’s obvious favorites heading into this season from the likes of the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, and Denver Broncos among others. Unlike previous years, the AFC is extremely soft this year, so the bulk of our time will be centered on the NFC games.

There’s dark horses throughout the league (see guy in the pic above), who could potentially creep up on the favorites and go for a deep run in the playoffs, like the two teams in our prime-time game tonight. Today’s biggest stories are the Tony Romo and Cowboys, Geno Smith surviving in his inaugural start for the Jets, and the sexy afternoon match-up between Green Bay and San Francisco.

We’re thrilled to have the NFL Season back, to enjoy the next 5 months of some great pigskin, NFC that is. Check after the jump to see the 5 games we’ll definitely be watching today and see my picks for each game.
