Dallas at New Orleans
Time: 8:30 PM (ET)
Network: NBC
Dropping 2 of their last 3 games to the New England Patriots and New York Jets wasn’t something the New Orleans Saints pictured but it happened. They have a pretty competitive schedule left before the playoffs start and will need to win every game they can to keep some breathing room in their division against the Carolina Panthers. That starts today with a home game against the Dallas Cowboys. Even at 5-4, the Dallas has had a sub-par year being in the NFC East that changes standings by the second.
A match-up against the Saints in New Orleans isn’t something any team in the NFL would want this year, which they’re still undefeated at home. In comparison to being on the road, the Saints offense plays at one of the most elite levels in the game today and will be gunning for the Cowboys as soon as the first whistle blows. Dallas is praying for defensive-end DeMarcus Ware to be ready today, because they’re going to need all the defense they can get in today’s match-up. We’re not saying how many points the Saints will win by; but if Romo folds under pressure on the road, this one could quickly get ugly.
UPDATE: New Orleans 49, Dallas 17
