After starting the season 0-4, the NFL’s most prestige franchise Pittsburgh Steelers have went on to win 3 of their last 5 games. The big talk around Penn State has been whether the team will move forward without Ben Roethlisberger, who won them 2 Super Bowls the last 8 years. Last week with a victory over rival Chicago Bears, the Detroit Lions gained sole possession of the NFC North now at 6-3.
Although Calvin Johnson has been dealing with an injured knee, we’re still taking the Lions to win seeing how Matthew Stafford and Reggie Bush have been playing this year along with a pretty consistent defense to keep them motivated for better offensive plays down the stretch. Pittsburgh will solely have to rely on their home field advantage, because this is a very bad match-up for them across the board against the Lions.
