Must See NFL Sunday 2013: Week 12

n6
Denver at New England
Time: 8:30 PM (ET)
Network: NBC

The biggest game on Sunday’s plate of action features a primetime meeting between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots. The main storyline centered on this game is the obvious Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning matchup, which will mark their 14th time playing each other (regular season or playoffs). Tom Brady’s won 9 of their 13 meetings and Peyton Manning is yet to defeat him this decade.

That could change tonight though, as Peyton Manning finally has a legitimate team surrounding around him in Denver from one of the league’s best defenses and offensive lines to Demaryius Thomas, Knowshon Moreno, Eric Decker and even Brady’s former go-to-guy, Wes Welker. Like we said earlier, Brady and the Patriots lost a thriller on Monday night against the Carolina Panthers; while the Broncos gave the Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the season at Denver.

It’s very rare that the Patriots lose back-to-back games, but Peyton could be coincidentally break that trend tonight at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. The Patriots too many injuries with Peyton having way more targets against their defense. Speaking of which, the last three Broncos games have arguably been their best defensive outings all season. Tom Brady really might not enjoy this one today unless Peyton folds under pressure.
