Must See NFL Sunday 2013: Week 17

n5
Kansas City at San Diego
Time: 4:25 PM (ET)
Network: CBS

After starting the year 9-0 before their bye week, the Kansas City Chiefs had the best record in the NFL playing against limited competition. Now that the better teams have caught up to them, they’ve dropped 4 of their last 6 outings; including losing 3 in a row. Kansas City now heads to sunny SoCal for a finale today against the San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium. San Diego started the year off very poorly but has won 4 of their last 5 games (including meetings against the Broncos and Chiefs) and have jumped directly back into playoff discussions.

Luckily for them, they’re our pick for the upset of the day to clinch a playoff berth at home against the team they just beat 6 weeks ago. San Diego’s run game will be the primary factor of today’s game due to the Chiefs lack of inability to defend the run, as well as the Chiefs resting some of their starters virtually having the 5 seed locked.

UPDATE: San Diego 27, Kansas City 24 (OT)
