Must See NFL Sunday 2013: Week 3

UPDATE: Saints Defeat Cardinals 31-7. Brees Throws Two Picks & Sacked 4 Times.

The New Orleans Saints have opened the season with a 2-0 record highlighted by two victories against NFC South’s Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With the Saints back home and their offense clicking at a rapid alarming rate for the highest efficiency we’ve seen since their Super Bowl year, they have a strong chance of remaining undefeated so far this year.

While a trip to the Bowl obviously won’t happen this year largely due to the two elephants in the room of the NFC West, the Saints are a dark horse in the conference if any team receives a major injury. Arizona will have a hard time containing Darren Sproles and Pierre Thomas, but we’d be intrigued if they give Pierre Thomas some freedom today after making two game saving plays this year at St. Louis and winning last week against Detroit. The Cardinals secondary will definitely be tired today if the Saints start the game off with a balance on the run game and their dangerous passing game.
