Seattle at Houston
Time: 1:00 PM (ET) | Sunday
Network: CBS
The Houston Texas opened up the season with back-to-back nail biter games, but lost convincingly to the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens not scoring a single touchdown in their 30-9 blowout. This week, it doesn’t get easier for Houston, as they host Seattle facing the league’s best team currently constructed at the moment. Luckily for the Texans, they’ll be playing at home but after starting the season at 2-0, they could soon be 2-3 with the San Francisco 49ers on slate next week. We’re expecting the Seahawks run game to really takeover this game even without a steady offensive live to provide help.
The Texans pass-rush is the highest in the NFL, but we’re expecting the option Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch to provide confusion to the secondary. Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins will have a tough challenge today also with Seattle only giving up 17 points in their 8 straight regular season games. We’re not expecting a high scoring game given both teams being defensively sound, but we can sense a signature Texans to the wire game with Seattle pulling off the close one.
