Before the season started, none of us expected the Jets to be above .500 let alone win two games (no sarcasm). We’re expected the Titans to have some difficulties throwing the ball down the field; which will if the Jets play the pass, Jake Locker will have freedom to run the ball whenever Chris Johnson isn’t getting a carry. With an improved offensive line, Locker hasn’t had a single turnover through 3 games, which the Jets defense has to put pressure on the Titans offensive-line to turn Locker into a pocket passer.
If Locker isn’t contained, the Gang Green could have a long afternoon today in Tennessee. Whether Rex Ryan likes it or not, Geno Smith has proved himself to be rookie QB for the future, with a large upside and Mark Sanchez could’ve played his last down as a Jet.
