We’re nearing the halfway point of the 2013 NFL season, and some teams are looking to finally make their push at obtaining a playoff spot for the coming months. The New Orleans Saints joined the field of teams with loses under their belt, after Tom Brady and the Patriots rallied from behind in their prime-time game to avoid losing back-to-back games. Speaking of Brady, he has a major game today on the road against the New York Jets. The Patriots have many injuries but their star tight-end Rob Gronkowski will be returning back for his first game of the season in a rivalry game.
While the Brady-Gronkowski tandem will be seeing its first look at this year, they could legitimately receive a scare today against Rex Ryan. The AFC West has the only no loss teams, being the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs. Much like the photo you see above, the biggest storyline this month has been Peyton Manning’s official return to Indianapolis and first meeting against his former team for the first time. Colts owner Jim Irsay had words this week for his former QB, which has put immense pressure on his new franchise player Andrew Luck. Before tonight’s big match-up, we have some JV games on deck from both conferences to get you prepared for the big match-up.
