Denver at Indianapolis
Time: 8:30 PM (ET) | Sunday
Network: NBC
The biggest game of the weekend for the NFL is the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts, and it’s only right the two teams are matched up in a prime-time meeting to end today’s action. Peyton Manning will be making his first return to Indianapolis for the first time in over 3 years, now as a visitor. Colts owner, Jim Irsay opened up this week saying they should’ve won more titles with Peyton; sparking up the big elephant in the room.
Andrew Luck had a poor performance last Monday against the Chargers where he didn’t throw a single today touchdown. Sadly, Luck will have major pressure tonight on himself backing up Irsay’s claims that the team is better off now with Luck as the successor to Manning. Tonight, we’re expecting Peyton Manning to put up at least 40 points tonight against a very respectable Colts defense. Manning is still upset at how things ending in Indy, due to a narcissistic owner wanting to control Peyton’s career and legacy.
UPDATE: Colts hand Broncos first loss of the year with 39-33 upset win in Peyton’s return.
