Last week, we witnessed the passing of the Indianapolis Colts torch from Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck. While Luck has proven himself as an already solidified franchise player for the now and future, he out dueled Peyton’s return to Indy and backed Jim Irsay’s words for the night. Although the Colts have loses to Dolphins and Chargers, they’ve beat arguably the top 3 teams in the league being the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and now the Denver Broncos.
Luck and the Colts are off this weekend until their prime-time match-up against AFC South Rival, the Houston Texans. Don’t worry though, there’s still some action today filled with mainly AFC meetings and a few important NFC games for some teams wanting to make their push into the post season. Now in week 8, teams are looking for their ticket to wildcard weekend and the second half season pushes officially begin today.
