Indianapolis at Denver

Sunday week one action concludes with a rivalry game of Peyton Manning playing his former team in the Indianapolis Colts. After coming up shy of arguably the best NFL season for any player ever, Peyton Manning begins his 2014 campaign with hopes of leading the Denver Broncos back to the Super Bowl. The team will be without wideout Wes Welker, who’s suspending the first four games of the year due to alleged drug use.
With his second favorite target Eric Decker, also gone from the team, we don’t expect this one to affect Manning; as he can essentially make any receiver’s talents better. With the Broncos defense upgraded as well, Peyton will have more time not to rush himself on the field. This, however, doesn’t mean the Colts are a pushover, but without a lack of a balanced offense with a run game hinders them in the Sunday night opener.
