San Francisco 49ers at New Orleans Saints
Time: 1:00 PM (ET) on FOX
Favorite: New Orleans (open: 3.5 / current: 5 | over/under: 49)

One team with arguably the toughest remaining schedule left is the San Francisco 49ers. The team is coming off back-to-back loses against the Denver Broncos and St. Louis Rams and still have key meetings against the Seattle Seahawks (twice), Arizona Cardinals, San Diego Charges and an afternoon game at New York for the Giants.

Today, they travel south to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for much-needed game against the New Orleans Saints. Both teams have a .500 record at 4-4, but the 49ers are in a must-win predicament to stay within wildcard reach. It may be cliché, but the Saints do not lose at home (dating back to December of 2012) and are coming after one of their better defensive efforts of the entire season.

With the 49ers still struggling to score in the red zone and stick to their efficient run game, this could be a walk in the park for Sean Payton’s team. Now that veteran Jimmy Graham fresh from returning back to the Saints, New Orleans will be looking to make a strong push into the post-season – due to their NFC South rivals struggling.
