NY Giants at Seattle Seahawks
Time: 4:25 PM (ET) on FOX
Favorite: Seattle (open: 7.5 / current: 9 | over/under: 44.5)
After falling to .500 at 3-3 a few weeks ago, the Seattle Seahawks have quietly sneaked to a 5-3 record with inferior and injured opponents in the likes of both the Carolina Panthers and Oakland Raiders. However, the team has an extremely tough schedule remaining against Kansas City, Philadelphia, as well as two meetings each against both San Francisco and Arizona. Today, they play an afternoon game against the New York Giants, who are still feeling the effects from season ending injuries for both Prince Amukamara and Victor Cruz.
Normally, this would be the time that New York magically rallies up a few wins for a post-season run; but following three consecutive loses, we find that scenario extremely difficult. With the Giants being unable to have a run game to balance their offense, the Seahawks defense will have one of their best outings of the year to hopefully bring their troubled locker room together.
