Seattle Seahawks at Kansas City Chiefs
Time: 1:00 PM (ET) on FOX
Favorite: Kansas City (open: 1 / current: 2 | over/under: 42.5)
After dropping to .500 and the possibility of even falling below in October, the Settle Seahawks have quietly emerged back into the playoff discussions. There was question whether the defending Super Bowl champions would have any difficulty of obtaining another post-season ticket, but their season has been an interesting one to say the least. They’ve been lucky enough to have a favorable schedule over the last few weeks, but things get extremely difficult heading forward. That starts today with fellow 6-3 team, the Kansas City Chiefs – for a pivotal intern-conference west meeting.
The Chiefs are on a 4 game winning streak, and look to continue that trend today at Arrowhead Stadium. Surprisingly, the Chiefs are the favorites to win this game due to the Seattle inability to stop short passes (worst in the league among all teams), which plays into Alex Smith’s game-plan each week, throwing the shortest attempted yards each down. With Seattle having the most difficult schedule remaining, a road win today for them could potentially build huge momentum heading forward.
